Krystle Campbell, 29 years old, was identified as the second person killed in the Boston Marathon bombings on Monday. Campbell was reportedly near the finish line with her friend Karen Rand who reportedly had been waiting for her boyfriend to finish the race at just about 3 p.m. when the first blast occurred, CNN reported.

Her father, William, said Krystle "was the most lovable girl. She helped everybody and I'm so just so shocked right now. We're devastated."

"She was the best," her mother Patty told reporters on Tuesday.

"You could not ask for a better daughter. She had a heart of gold," she added.

Her grandmother, Lillian, described her as "a beautiful girl. She was very happy, outgoing, a hard worker."

The Boston Globe reported that Campbell often times went to see the marathon runners.

"She's been doing it since she was a little girl. She didn't miss a marathon, watching it at the finish line," her grandmother also said.

A Chinese graduate student attending Boston University died on Tuesday after suffering injuries from the blast. The university declined to release the name but The Huffington Post reported that the South China Morning Post had identified Lu Lingzi as the third victim. She had suffered a coma from the blast.  

The explosions, detonated within fifteen seconds apart near the finish line on Boylston Street.

8-year-old Martin Richard was identified as the first victim of the bombings on Monday.
