Wii U users are expecting announcements from the developer of The Legend of Zelda on the debut date of the game. Link has an important role in the game but fans will not be hearing him speak.

Techno Buffalo shares the list of most anticipated games of 2016 for Wii U saying that solid games will be available for the console despite the coming of Nintendo's NX. For one is The Legend of Zelda as the game is expected to finally reach its makings this 2016.

The Bitbag is optimistic that game developer Nintendo Entertainment will release The Legend of Zelda on both Wii U and the NX.

Aside from the 2016 release of The Legend of Zelda for Wii U, fans are also waiting for information with regards to their requests of hearing Link speak in the upcoming game. Christian Post said despite of the fans' requests, the character will still be voiceless.

The report of Christian Post is confirmed by producer Eiji Aonuma saying that Link's voice is not necessary for the game when it will be release on Wii U. The game producer admitted that there were lots of appeals to give Link a possible script as he has become one of the favorite characters. However, Aonuma clarified that Link's silence is something special. He thinks that the silence is part of Link's individuality of character.

The game producer also disclosed that the game is at the late stage of development where it is impossible to hire a voice actor for Link. But he will consider the suggestions saying "I want to think long and hard about whether changing that would be for the better or not before I make any decision,", the source added.

Fans and Wii U users are expecting that Nintendo Entertainment will make some important announcements about the game very soon.
