Senator Bernie Sanders stated to the media that the "e-mail scandal" of Hilary Clinton is very sensitve and serious. He also added that there is already a an ongoing legal process that he did not want to politicize.

Sanders previously stated the Clinton's controversial private e-mails is a usual thing -just another Republican who like to divert the real issues like universal health, care, and campaign finance reform.

However, Sanders recently had a change of heart.  In his latest interview with Jake Tapper, he addressed the 22 e-mails in 7 e-mail chains that contained top secret information as a"very serious" matter.

Tapper was noted to have asked if  voters should take from those comments that Sanders "think nothing was done wrong when it comes to how Secretary Clinton handled classified information, or is that not a fair".

Sanders answered  "No, no. No, that is not, I think, a fair assessment. I think this is a very serious issue. I think there is a legal process right now taking place ... I get criticized. There is a legal process taking place. I do not want to politicize that issue. It is not my style."

According to Sanders, he was focusing on the issues affecting the middle class rather than Clinton.

"Jake, I go around this state of Iowa. I can't go to a meeting where ... middle-aged people [don't] tell me how how much in debt they are in terms of student debt or people who can't afford health care," the Senator said, as per the Washington Free Beacon. "Those are the issues that we're going to focus on. There is a legal process underway with regards to the email situation. It will play out. I'm not going to politicize it."

On Friday, one of Clinton's campaign strategist accused Sanders of running the "most negative" Democratic primary campaign ever. While Sanders has attacked Clinton for her Wall Street ties, he has strayed from her private email scandal or Bill Clinton's past sexual misconduct which has came back to the limelight.
