Frozen 2 is currently in the works with Anna and Elsa highly speculated to return with their adorable friend, Olaf. Several speculations have surfaced on the possible plot of the upcoming and highly anticipated sequel.

As reported by Movie News Guide, one of the heavily speculated arcs for the sequel is a possible tandem of Prince Hans and Queen Elsa. Although it is unclear how their love would blossom, if the rumor proves true, then, it could mean a change of heart for Prince Hans who was one of the baddies in the first film.

Moreover, according to Master Herald, a new villain is also rumored to appear in Frozen 2 who would challenge Queen Elsa. It is said that the new female villain would appear in Arendelle and would bear the opposite of Elsa's powers which means the new villain's power could be fire or heat.

Previous claims also stated that Anna could develop powers in the sequel, while some other stated that she could be the next villain who will challenge Elsa. But such rumors have been dismissed by director Jennifer Lee who stated that Anna's power in the first movie was her love, and that is all there is.

Furthermore, director Chris Buck previously hinted that the next film could still explore the unknown details of Elsa's power.  "It was this idea one story artist had", Buck said as reported by Youth Health Mag. "What if Elsa got a cold? What would happen? What kind of havoc would come from that? And then our imaginations just started going."

Aside from the relationship of Elsa and Anna, Frozen 2 is expected to include songs that would leave a positive mark on the audience like the song 'Let it go' from the first movie. Frozen was released in 2013, and earned $1.2 billion worldwide.
