The Philadelphia Police Department released dramatic video of a gunman firing repeatedly into a Philadelphia Chinese restaurant and the ensuing struggle that left three people injured. The incident happened on Tuesday evening, and the video was released by police on Thursday as they stepped up the hunt for the attacker, NBC News reported.

Footage shows one victim trying to keep the culprit out by holding the door closed while others fall to the floor and try to shield themselves. In the video, one sees the bullets hitting the glass door. The suspect then reaches around to fire again at the group. Separate video of Tuesday night's shooting filmed outside the store shows the suspect walking to the front door and firing directly at a Chinese restaurant.

After several failed attempts to get at the victims inside the store, the suspect backs up and fires several shots through the glass door striking the victims inside the store 

The attacker then turns and runs away, leaving three victims with what authorities deemed as non-life-threatening gunshot wounds.

Police describe the shooter as being a black male about 6"2, medium build and beard or goatee, wearing a dark colored sweatshirt. He was also wearing dark-colored pants and baseball batting gloves. The gunman then fled north on 18th Street from 66th Avenue in Philadelphia.
