Harmonix has confirmed that the "Rock Band 4" DLC that's scheduled to arrive this week has been pushed to February. According to the studio, it decided to delay the launch of the content update after members of the development team encountered a bug while working on it.

Originally, the January DLC for the game was supposed to arrive on Jan. 26. However, due to a bug related to the Overdrive Squeeze exploit, the studio decided to postpone its release. Although, the company said in a recent press release that this issue has already been fixed earlier this month, another problem cropped up after a patch for it was developed.

As a result, Harmonix was forced to delay the upcoming content update to next month. Although it did not mention an exact release date, the studio said it is targeting to release the DLC during the first week of February.

According to PlayStation Lifestyle, the postponed DLC will mark the first content update that will be released for "Rock Band 4" on a monthly basis. Once the update arrives next month, the next DLC will be available in March followed by another one in April and so on.

As for its contents, Harmonix noted that gamers can expect to get new gear inspired by the "Psychonauts" game in the upcoming DLC. In addition, the content update will also feature extra bug fixes and an improved leaderboard system.

But, while waiting for the February DLC, gamers can already get their hands on new songs for the latest installment in the "Rock Band" game series, Shack News reported. Released on Jan. 19, these new tracks feature grunge songs from the 1990s. These include "My Wave" by Soundgarden, "Hunger Strike" by Temple of the Dog and "Wicked Garden" by the Stone Temple Pilots, the band of the late Scott Weiland. Each song can be purchased for $1.99.

"Rock Band 4" officially came out in Oct. 6, 2015. It is currently available for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One systems.
