After a two-month long investigation Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast is finally clear from investigations. The Harris County grand jury has instead indicted the two accusers of Planned Parenthood.

Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast was under investigation after a video of them was released. The Texas Rangers, Houston Police Department and Harris County District Attorney's Office conducted a thorough investigation. CNN reported that they found out those Anti-abortion activists David Daleiden and Sandra Merritt were the ones at fault. The Harris District County Attorney said the two was charged with tampering with a governmental record, a second-degree felony. Additionally, Daleiden was charged with class a misdemeanor because of prohibiting a purchase and sale of human organs.

During the investigations, it was clear that Planned Parenthood did not violate any laws. Planned Parenthood argued that the evidence video was heavily edited by the two accusers who are anti-abortion. According to Khou, Gulf Coast Director of Research Melissa Farrell said she thought she was talking to researchers. In the video, it can be heard how she talked about the administrative costs of harvesting fetal organs.

Melaney Linton, President and CEO of Planned Parenthood Gulf Coast said "The people behind this fraud lied and broke the law in order to spread malicious lies about Planned Parenthood to advance their extreme anti-abortion political agenda".

The CEO added that the people behind this are the criminals and not them. They are the frauds who want to stop abortion in the wrong way. She further explained that Planned Parenthood always serve quality service with consideration to its customers. They are not doing anything illegal and that they have never ever sold anything to gain profit. Planned Parenthood is glad that everything is clear and that those people are going to be punished, said ABC13.

Although Planned Parenthood was cleared by the grand jury, the governor, Greg Abbott, said it has nothing to do with the state's investigations. They will still continue their own investigations about the issue.
