It has now been recently confirmed that One Direction member, Louis Tomlinson, is definitely a father already. He recently welcomes his baby boy into the world.

The 24-year-old singer, Louis Tomlinson, has never publicly talked about being a father but did confirm the news himself last year. According to The Sun, he and the mother, Briana Jungwirth, are yet to make a birth certificate but have reportedly agreed already to name their son, Sydney Rain. It has not yet been confirmed whether the baby takes Briana's or Louis's surname for the couple are no longer together. Tomlinson is now openly dating Disney star and actress, Danielle Campbell. The singer recently confirmed the birth of his son last Saturday as he posted on his twitter account "I'm pleased to say my baby son was born yesterday :) He is healthy and pretty amazing :) I'm very happy!!"

With regards to naming their child, Metro reported that Louis has been enamoured by the name, Sydney Rain, already even during Briana's pregnancy. They have kept the chosen name for their son up until his birth last Friday, January 22. There have also been reports saying that he is now trying to look for a place in Los Angeles so that he can be close to his new family, even if he is no longer romantically involved with the mother. The singer has allegedly stayed by Briana's side as she was giving birth, which has shown great maturity in them, given their current situation.

The pregnancy of Briana has come to a shock to Tomlinson's fans, as they only had a brief fling after he broke up with long-term girlfriend, Eleanor Calder, as reported by Hollywood Life. The two are yet to settle about the custody of the child, financial support and the like. However, they seem to be in good terms, especially more now that they both want to be a part of their son's life.

Louis is the first member of One Direction to betting into fatherhood. Despite a rather young age, he is very excited about the birth of his son.
