Motorola Android 6.0 Marshmallow Official OTA Release for Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Turbo, Moto Turbo (2014) & Moto Maxx (2014)

Motorola has been rolling out the Android 6.0 Marshmallow update to its phones one by one since December 2015. Confirmed up in the queue are devices Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Turbo, Moto Turbo (2014) and Moto Maxx (2014).

Motorola devices next in line for the Android 6.0 Marshmallow include Droid Maxx 2, Droid Turbo 2, Droid Turbo, Moto Turbo (2014) and Moto Maxx (2014). The report came after David Schuster's announcement on Google+ the other day about the soak test release to Moto G (2nd Gen) in India and Brazil. Schuster, senior director for product management, added that units in the United States shall follow as soon as the soak test is declared successful.

As reportedly previously, Lenovo's sister company is pledged to roll out official software updates very soon despite the frenzy brought by the company's rebranding plans. The upgrade will bring in complete set of features of the Marshmallow launcher, plus the ones brought by the first update like the updated emojis.

Motorola has been taking the lead in Marshmallow updates as it has the most number of phones already updated to Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The company is known to have a clear vision to push advanced software updates to its devices. In fact, official release of Marshmallow to five mid-range phones is allegedly coming up in a few days.

In another report, the company is said to will release software updates to all of its eligible devices before the confirmed company revamp. However, it also promised not to interrupt any device operations when revamp officially comes.

Android 6.0 Marshmallow will come with fresh features and enhancements in web experience, battery, user interface, and in overall system performance, particularly Doze, app permissions, Android Pay, Google now and many more.

If Motorola is to push directly to Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow, it will bring in with it over 200 new additions to the collection of emoji. This includes new faces, polished ones to emphasize countenance, and many more enhancements.
