Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice is just a few months away from hitting the big screen. As the anticipation rises for the DC fans, director Zack Snyder assured that the fight between the two superheroes will not only be philosophically satisfying but also physically real.

The expected showdown between Batman and Superman could be one of the biggest superhero showdown in film and as reported by Screen Rant, the fight between the heroes will be more than just spectacle.

"The discovery of the story is that Batman fights Superman. Now move your superhero chess pieces so that can happen. And it can happen in a credible and interesting way. ... It's just incredibly satisfying and fun to dig into these two mythological characters and find a through line that allows them to come into conflict in a way that not only is philosophically satisfying, but also physically real", Snyder said.

He also added that he stands by the decision in the first film of how Superman's violence was portrayed saying that it is his belief that there should be a consequence everytime a hero makes an interaction with Earth. It can be observed in the trailer that the reason for Bruce Wayne's return from retirement is due to the destruction that Superman made during his fight against Zod in Man of Steel.

Moreover, aside from the trailers and sneak peak, Collider reported that a new footage foe Batman v Superman was also released in CW for the return of The Flash. In the footage, Henry Cavill, Ben Affleck,  Jesse Eisenberg, and Snyder talked about the characters in the film.

According to IGN, fans can also purchase the new merchandise for the film after DC Comics' partnership with Warner Bros. Consumer Products. Some of the goods available are Gotham and Metropolis hoodies, BvS pants, its companion novel, watch, and shoes.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice will feature Affleck and Cavill as two of DC's titular heroes, as well as Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Jeremy Irons as Alfred, Jason Momoa as Aquaman, and Amy Adams as Lois Lane. It will be released in theaters in March 25, 2016.
