The Fifth Harmony singer Camila Cabello has been romantically linked with the musician Shawn Mendes. But the "Stitches" singer totally denied the news that they are actually dating just minutes before they performed together in a passionate duet at  Pitbull New Year's Eve Revolution.

According to People Magazine, Fifth Harmony member Camila Cabello was the topic of the daytime talk show host Wendy Williams during an interview on Pitbull New Year's Eve Revolution, where Shawn Mendes and the Fifth Harmony songstress performed their duty together.

The talk show host caught the singer off guard as he was asked about his blossoming romance with Cabello. Williams said, "I hear your girlfriend is here with you tonight." But then, the shippers of the two were left disappointed as the singer told the host, "I don't have a girlfriend... Maybe I'll find one here tonight."

Although the sources don't really have any idea if Mendes found himself someone on New Year's Eve, Cabello was also present at the event. She was even joined by her rumored beau Mendes on stage to perform their duet of their latest collab, "I Know What You Did Last Summer".

E! Online was the first to report that the Fifth Harmony member and Mendes  have been actually been romantically linked together back in September. It was also claimed that the two's longtime friendship blossomed into something more serious this past fall after getting close during their joint tour, including the other Fifth Harmony members and Austine Mahone.

Moreover, a Fifth Harmony insider reportedly continued to to admit that Camila Cabello and Mendes  "really like each other" and "do nothing but laugh when they're in each other's company."

And that very same month, Cabello seemingly appeared to admit a blossoming romance on social media when she took to her Instagram account to share a snap of the rumored couple backstage at the IHeartRadio Festival, where they both performed.

Meanwhile, it is still not sure whether Mendes was just playing coy with Wendy Williams' questions about the love affair, but it sounds like Cabello probably won't have too much time to spend with the Mendes in 2016. The songstress revealed in a recent interview that Fifth Harmony are set to have a busy year as they are working on a follow-up debut album called "Reflection".
