A man suspect from Alabama fatally stabbed another man using a replica of a Civil War sword. The two men had a fight on their mobile house in Mississippi, according to the Monroe police authorities on Friday.

ABC News reported, Stanley Pace, a 47 year old man from Pale City, Alabama had a fight with Ronnie Max Duke, 43 years old of Armory, chasing him and stabbed him repeatedly with the said sword on Friday, evening.

While at a mobile house at 600448 Oldway 6, the two men were drinking and ended up arguing. Their fight continued out on the street where Pace pursued Duke holding a replica Civil War sword for about 100 yards down the street, D Journal reported. It was also reported that Pace mutilated and killed Duke with over 20 stabs and cuts.

He run him down the road, and had what we look like as a sword. A Civil War sword, and he cut him up with that sword," said Sheriff Cecil Cantrell of Monroe County.

Monroe County Sheriff also said, Pace was arrested by the investigators for murdering Duke after he was reported missing, according to NY Daily News. He also confessed that he dragged and hid Duke's body beside the road.

Cantrell said, "He went back the next night, got the body and took it to a garbage dump near Old Highway 6. There are no other suspects at this time." Stanley Pace was charge of murder and is currently detained in the Monroe County Detention Facility pending his arraignment.

Alan Gurley, Monroe County Coroner reported, the victim's body was found 12:15pm on Monday down a steep embankment four miles north of Highway 278. He also revealed that Duke's suffered stab wounds early Saturday morning. Duke's body will be move to the State Crime Lab in Pearl.
