'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows' will feature the alien villain Krang in his first ever live-action film appearance. He is set to join new villains Bebop and Rocksteady in the second film in the cinematic series starring Megan Fox and Will Arnett.

According to /Film, producer Michael Bay confirmed that the evil alien warlord Krang will make his big-screen debut in the second film in the cinematic series. Krang is one of the most popular villains in the original animated series and was first introduced in 1987. He is described as a disembodied brain housed in a makeshift robot body that he controls.

Another article by Den of Geek reported that Bay wasn't likely to portray him the same way as in the original animated series since the filmmaker expressed concerns about the villain looking like a "stupid octopus" with his tentacles hanging out.

Other new villains appearing in 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows' include Bebop and Rocksteady, loyal henchmen to the ever villainous Shredder. Gary Anthony Williams and pro-wrestler Stephen "Seamus" Farrelly will make their on-screen debut as Bebop and Rocksteady, respectively.

According to Moviepilot, a new toy line released by The Playmates also included Krang in the line-up, furthering proof that one of the vilest antagonists of the original series will make it on the silver screen. It also featured the titular turtles Leonardo, Donatello, Michaelangelo and Raphael in outlandish costumes.

'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Out of the Shadows' is an upcoming 3D action-comedy film based on the amphibious superheroes of the same name. It is intended as the second film in the live-action cinematic series and is scheduled to be released on June 3, 2017.
