The present action of North Korea sparks international discomforts everywhere. If the nation is confirmed to have created the H-bomb, it would result into a gross violation of international law.

Once the test is confirmed, nations such as South Korea strongly condemn North Korea's actions. Cho Tae-yong, a senior security official at the South Korean presidential office stated that the "South Korean government strongly reviles North Korea ignoring repeated warnings from us and the worldwide community and pushing ahead with the fourth nuclear test, which clearly violated the United Nations resolutions."

The announcement rendered by South Korea was in response to the magnitude 5.1 natural disaster. The noted eruption was near the rogue nation's nuclear testing site in Pyunggye-ri, at around 10 a.m. local time, mentions Junior College.

Supporting the admonition, even the United States Geological Survey undoubtedly reported a 5.1 magnitude quake that South Korea said was 49 km from the Punggye-ri site. The same area where North Korea has conducted nuclear tests in the past, as further reported by Oracle Herald.

It stands out that North Korea formerly carried out tests on nuclear devices in this same region during 2006, 2009 and even 2013, as cited by the same publication. Moreover, last December 2015, December 2015 Kim Jong Un strongly announced that North Korea is "ready to detonate" a hydrogen bomb.

Meanwhile, Equilibrio Informativo cited, that the DPRK proclaimed that it had fruitfully carried out its first test of a "miniaturized" hydrogen bomb. However, the National Intelligence Service (NIS), South Korea's spy agency, also declared that there is likelihood for it not being an H-bomb test due to the small size of the seismic activity.

Since in order for it to be an H-Bomb, the fusion in a chain reaction would result into a far more strong blast. Despite its confirmations, North Korea is presently under the USA and United Nations sanctions due to its persisting goals of implementing its nuclear weapons programme.
