‘Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire’ Update: Dev Reminds Special Distribution Schedule of Shiny Xerneas Event, CoroCoro Challenge Battle Competition

Game developer Game Freak reminds Japanese fans that the Shiny Xerneas event and the CoroCoro Challenge Battle Competition for Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are about to end.

Posted in Serebii, the trusted Pokémon site, the Shiny Xerneas event is in line to finish off on January 12, 2016.  The event is the only approach to obtain shiny Xerneas. The event also happens together with the onset of the Pokémon XY & Z anime series. Fans can get the Shiny Xerneas through password MOKUYO7JI, accessed through Mystery Gift. Unfortunately, the Shiny Xerneas event is for those with Japanese version of the game.

The source also mentioned to remind fans who joined in the CoroCoro Challenge Battle Competition the special distribution which is scheduled to close by January 11. The reward for this battle competition is the Master Ball and is acquired by means of the Serial Code from the Pokémon Global Link. Again, this event is participated only by fans in Japan.

Christian Post mentioned in line with Pokémon With You campaign celebration, Japanese Pokémon participants will be given Level 99 Pikachu with Souvenir Ribbon and Rare Candy. Aside from that, the event also consists of Happy Hour, Play Nice, Hold Hands and Flash moves. The Pikachu Event will be happening in Pokémon Center Tohoku on from January 2 until January 11 only while the distribution will be in Fukushima this weekend.

It was recalled in a previous report that Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire have two new Nintendo 3DS themes - Pokemon: Poke Create & Kokeshi Dolls.

Pokémon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire are role-playing video games developed by Game Freak. They are published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS family of systems.
