Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire Introduces New 3DS Themes; Pikachu Event to Run Until January 11

Given that Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been consistently talked about for quite some time now, gamers have consistently received updates on a regular basis in return for their patronage. 2016 offers a new window of opportunities for the franchise, and an upcoming event that will surely be hard to miss.

According to The Verge, the much-appraised Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire has been so popular recently, and even after the success, Game Freak continues to dazzle fans with more updates and events. The latest news that came out for the title include two new themes for the 3DS.

Delivered by International Business Times, Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire was given two new Nintendo 3DS themes, one of which was named Pokemon: Poke Create & Kokeshi Dolls. The said theme contains various dolls together with Sushi High-Roller music. The second theme is called Pokemon: Peeking Pokemon Friends, wherein players can see two views of a Pokemon-one as Pokemon Black & White, and the PokeKyun Collection.

Christian Post reports that in addition to this, a new Pikachu Event is already taking place and will continue to do so until January 11th, 2016. This particular event will be a tie-in with Pokemon With You, in which gamers are to be given a special Pikachu at level 99 and comes with a Souvenir Ribbon and a Rare Candy. More than that, it will be comprised of Happy Hour, Play Nice, Hold Hands and Flash moves.

These updates are not at all new to the world of Pokemon Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire. That being said, the ever-coveted Pikachu Event is being held at the Pokemon Center Tohoku in Japan in the aforementioned dates of January 2, 2016 to January 11, 2016.
