It's been a long time since we heard Ray Parker Jr.'s  "Who ya gonna call?", and no one seems to know the answer to that age-old question anymore - until now.  The Ghostbusters are back and will be played by female comedians like Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon, Leslie Jones and Melissa McCarthy. Though many Ghostbusters fans were surprised with director Paul Feig's new feminine spirit hunters, nonetheless, he assures everyone that the movie is heading in the right direction.

One of the most anticipated films that's going to be released in 2016 is the new Ghostbusters movie. Latest Ghostbusters' photo is leaking out on the internet, and fans are getting more excited.

In an exclusive with Entertainment Weekly, it's been revealed that the new Ghostbusters will be dealing with 'Pilgrims', revolutionary war spirits, old-timey sailors, and even a couple of zoot-suited gangsters. Now, this sounds really like the Ghostbusters of the old.

It has also been revealed that dead criminals from all eras of New York's underbelly past will return to scare and spread terror to the living in Paul Feig's Ghostbusters reboot.

Rebooting and remaking such a classic and iconic movie is a huge task for the team, especially for director Paul Feig and the lady movie stars. However, the premise is already sounding hilariously awesome. What's even great about the reboot is that, it looks as though there will be a real mix of the old and new in the film.

Also, Nate Jones, writing for Vulture said, "Imagine: ghost-pilgrims, with their little ghost-buckles on their little ghost-hats." It's pretty interesting how all this team is combining fun and ghosts and laughs and ghouls. Hopefully, the special effects will also match its overall awesomeness.

The Ghostbusters reboot will surely establish itself as the important pop culture moment that it is. Director Feig and the lady Ghostbusters are out to prove that the new reboot is not just a 'gimmick'. The Ghostbusters reboot movie is set for release on 15 July 2016.
