The much-demanded Resident Evil 7 is still just a mere idea as of the moment, especially as Capcom has a few other things within the schedule in mind. Though the particular seventh installment is still a distant reality, fans are already speaking out on what the said title can do well with.

Recent reports delivered that Resident Evil 7, as vaguely near impossible as it may seem, is one thing that fans have been literally waited on for a long time. One of the more acceptable reasons, as many may agree, is because the last few installments of the Resident Evil franchise has somewhat gone downhill.

The essence of the title has drifted far away from the original horror context that it has always been known for. If Capcom will not give the fans what they want for the title-to-be, the fan base may just slowly perish.

NSEA Voice reported that fans are greatly looking forward to the return of the classic villains of the series in the past installments, and as many agree, a game's antagonist brings the flavor and excitement to the story. Two of the most iconic villains have become the talk of the gamers, namely William Birkin and Nemesis. These two very frightening bosses are highly requested by all those that followed the series all throughout and the patrons of the game believe that it will serve well for the continuity of the franchise.

According to Master Herald, given that the sixth installment has somewhat failed the expectations of many, those that tail the evolution of the series firmly think that Resident Evil 7 may be the saving grace of the Resident Evil franchise. The gargantuan intrigue surrounding the re-mastered versions and remakes of the past installments are a different matter, and though fans may want to see this, there are still some who would prefer knowing where the story goes from where it last left off.

No release date for Resident Evil 7 has been known of yet. Keep posted for more news on Capcom's proposed continuity to the zombie survival series.
