Chelsea's midfielder Cesc Fabregas is now taking legal action against the former Blues player Pat Nevin. The latter was said to have insinuated Fabregas in an interview with BBC. Moreover, Nevin's response with this was a contrast of the other's account.

Cesc Fabregas, the star of Chelsea F.C, has started to take things legal after Pat Nevin's comments. According to Daily Mail, after Nevin's response to a BBC interview with Garry Richardson in which he said that the midfielder would rather like to lose than win for Jose Mourinho, former manager of the team. Due to this, Nevin might face defamation after Richardson brought up the comment "rather lose than win" in which Nevin's response was "Yeah, that was Cesc Fabregas, wasn't it?"

This would be rooted from the sacking that happened last Thursday. As reported by Football365, the BBC interview also stated that Richardson had information from a Chelsea first-team player regarding the relationship of players with the manager, Mourinho, where he said that it was at rock bottom. However, Fabregas denied any rumors about the relationship he have with Mourinho to be turbulent, to the extent that he even posted a photo of them together on Twitter with a caption of thanking the former manager and owing him a lot.

Meanwhile, Nevin,52, former Blues winger and played for Chelsea for almost 200 games claimed that he was not insinuating to Fabregas as the main player in the question brought up in the interview. According to BleacherReport, a column in the official Chelsea website gave Nevin's response. He said that "I absolutely wasn't having a go at Cesc, but asking the question, as the reporter I was talking to was the one who originally broke that story." Adding that he wasn't bothered by it as it is perfectly clear that the interviewer, Richardson, only stated it in the heat of the moment and that doesn't mean that the player would have really done it.

Cesc Fabregas is the senior Spaniard of the Chealsea F.C. who was axed last Thursday and is now taking legal actions after negative comments regarding his attitude toward former manager was reported. Nevin is now facing defamation due to this but still stated that he was not referring to the football star.
