BlackBerry is rumored to release another smartphone called the BlackBerry Vienna. This handset could be the Second Android phone that the Canadian telecommunication will unveil.

According to iDigitalTimes, BlackBerry CEO John Chen stated that the company might design a second Android-powered device. Chen was noted to have specified in the interview that if the new BlackBerry Priv sales are favorable through the first quarter of 2016, the period from January through March, the company will most probably add another Android phone to the lineup.

Some reports say that BlackBerry will name the new Android phone Vienna. The new phone will reportedly have many of the features from other models including the BlackBerry Passport, but it will  have a fixed keyboard instead of the slider used on the design for Priv. There's no official release date for the Vienna yet, but some sources believe development is already taking place while the company monitors the response to Priv.

Valuewalk added that last month, the images of a supposed second Android smartphone from BlackBerry codenamed Vienna were leaked online. There were assumptions that the Canadian technology company is testing Samsung's Exynos chips on its devices.

The BlackBerry smartphone codenamed STV100-1 with Samsung's octa-core 7420 processor 2.1GHz was reportedly seen on the GFXBench listing. In fact, Christian Today mentioned that the benchmark revealed a 5.1-inch QHD display, 3 GB RAM, 32 GB internal storage, 5-megapixel selfie shooter and a 16-megpixel rear-facing camera.

The report, however, highlighted that the benchmark listing may or may not belong to Blackberry's device. At the same time, there is also a tendency that the specification details may have only been invented.

Whether the device is the rumored Blackberry Vienna or not is yet to be confirmed so people should just wait for more updates from Blackberry which will hopefully be given soon.
