'Chicago Fire' Season 4 News: 3-way crossover with 'Chicago Med', 'Chicago PD' airs Jan. 5

"Chicago Fire" Season 4 is having a crossover episode with "Chicago Med" and Chicago PD" on January 5, 2016. Elsewhere, cast member Teri Reeves joins "Once Upon a Time" Season 5 while the official synopsis for episode 10 plot has been released.

NBC series "Chicago Fire" is going to have a three-way crossover event with "Chicago Med" and "Chicago PD" for its upcoming episode. According to IB Times, creator Matt Olmstead revealed that the storyline will focus on Hank Voight's (Jason Beghe) life.

Meanwhile, TV Line has reported that "Chicago Fire" cast member Teri Reeves officially joins "Once Upon a Time" Season 5. Reeves will be portraying the recurring role of Dorothy Gale, a brave warrior who is originally a "The Oz" character.

As for the official plot synopsis for Season 4 episode 10, Carter Matt notes, "Members of Firehouse 51 band together and anxiously await word at Chicago Med when one of their own falls victim to a life-threatening stabbing.

Cruz (Joe Minoso) urgently works with members of Chicago P.D. to track down Freddie's (Ralph Rodriguez) whereabouts when he goes missing. Dr. Choi (guest star Brian Tee) and Dr. Halstead (guest star Nick Gehlfuss) tend to an attempted suicide victim whose condition raises some eyebrows.

Meanwhile, Mouch (Christian Stolte) surprises Trudy (guest star Amy Morton) and Chill's (Dora Madison) odd behavior has Brett (Kara Killmer) and Jimmy (Steven R. McQueen) worried."

As of now, "Chicago Fire"Season 4 is on a winter hiatus and set to return with the show's 10th episodeentitled "The Beating Heart". The said 3-way crossover episode is slated to air on January 5, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. exclusively on NBC.

"Chicago Fire" is an American TV drama series executively produced by Dick Wolf and created by Michael Brandt and Derek Haas. The storyline evolves around the lives of the firefighters and paramedics working at the Chicago Fire Department at the firehouse of Engine 51, truck 81, squad 3, ambulance 61 and battalion 25.
