Actor Cuba Gooding Jr. is served with an arrest warrant by police for allegedly shoving a female bartender in a New Orleans bar on Bourbon Street on Tuesday. Police have sought out the actor for investigation and a possible arrest.

According to police reports the Academy Award Winning actor got frustrated with a group of tourists trying to attain the actor's autographs, when they started taking pictures he "became very aggravated with them," as reported by the Examiner. A female bartender asked the 44-year-old actor to calm down after which he shoved the unnamed bartender. The bartender went to phone 911 and returned to the actor telling him that she called the police and that they were on their way, after which he "pushed her again and left the bar," according to the police report as reported by the Examiner.

The actor's lawyer told reporters at the Los Angeles Times that the actor is taking the "necessary actions," to cooperate with authorities.

Best remembered for his famous line "Show me the money," in the classic 1996 hit Jerry McGuire for which the 44-year-old actor won the Academy Award for Best supporting actor as the loud, slightly insecure, football player Rod Tidwell. Other notable roles include "Coming to America," "A Few Good Men," "As Good As it Gets," and "Men of Honor." The actor currently lives with his wife of 18 years and their three sons. In 2002, he was inducted to the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The actor is currently shooting for his upcoming movie "The Butler With Oprah Winfrey" in Crescent City.
