The undeniable chemistry of "Divergent" stars Shailene Woodley and Theo James is said to intensify in the upcoming sequel of the movie, "Insurgent."
According to International Business Times, the on-screen couple will exhibit a much heated up romance in the second movie franchise of Veronica Roth's best-selling book.
During the 2014 Comic-Con event in San Diego, James, who plays the role of Tobias "Four" Eaton, and Woodley, who plays Beatrice "Tris" Prior, dished out details on what to expect from their characters. "The Fault in Our Stars" actress will reportedly take on a more mature role as Tris in the sequel. It is also said that she will be sporting her pixie hair cut in the second installment of the film.
With reference to the original events written on the book, there will be a shift in the dynamics of Tris and Four's relationship in its film adaptation. The 29-year-old English actor attested to this, saying that the movie will be "so much bigger" and will feature "rich themes of trust and betrayal and a love story between two people that you haven't seen in films of this nature before."
Meanwhile, speculations about Woodley and James's alleged romantic relationship persist despite both of them firmly dispelling the issue.
Rumors about the tattled love affair of the "Divergent" co-stars sparked after James revealed that he intentionally engaged himself in a passionate kiss with Woodley, as they were filming a specific scene for the movie, told Venture Capital Post.
Stating reports from MTV News, Kdramastars told that the James, without hesitation, admitted that he aggressively kissed Woodley during their scene on the train, thinking that that was how Woodley exactly wanted it to happen. He said that his purpose was to alleviate the awkwardness between him and his co-star, who was "batting away" her hands during the kissing scene.
Amid their on-cam sweetness, both of them confirmed that they not having a romantic affair. James has always been loyal with his long-time girlfriend Ruth Kearney, told Hallels. The real-life couple have been together for three years already.
On the other hand, Woodley is reportedly dating "Juno" actress Ellen Page, Classicalite reported. Quoting a source from OK! Magazine, the outlet said that both actresses have been very good friends for a long time, but their friendship suddenly flourished into a love story.
