Will the wedding bells soon be ringing for Lana Del Ray and James Franco? Apparently not.

The actor recently posted to his Instagram account which has 2.4 million followers a black and white photo of himself beside Del Ray. A caption reads, "Oh snap, we got married." He followed it up with, "JUST KIDDING."

E! Online is speculating that Franco and Del Ray have been dating, since the singer split up with former flame, Barrie-James O'Neill last June. The report added that Del Rey had attended a screening of Franco's new movie, Child of God in New York City last July 30. In addition, the website also said that Franco shared several photos of himself with the singer on Instagram which adds to the speculation.

Moreover, the website also did a little digging on Franco's Instagram page, where on July 19, Franco posted a photo of himself with Del Rey's arms wrapped around his neck during a stroll on the beach. Quoting the singer's lyrics, he captioned, "Down on the West Coast, they got a sayin..."

E! Online also added that Franco has been promoting Del Rey's career. He posted to Instagram her Rolling Stone cover. In another caption, Franco told followers he's "OBSESSED with the RIDE video!"

Meanwhile, Headline & Global News said that there have been speculations floating around since Franco portrayed a 17-year-old in a relationship with an older man in Blind Spot, which was released in 2001. He later played gay characters in Milk and Howl.

The website quoted Franco in an interview with Advocate in 2010, "Some people think I'm gay because I've played gay roles. That's what people think, but it's not true. I'm not gay. But on another level, there's something in me that is able to play roles like that in a way that's convincing," Franco said.
