Is Jay Z cheating on Beyonce with Rihanna? Rumors say couple will split after 'On the Run' tour

Jay Z's cheating scandal is allegedly killing his marriage with Beyonce.

Earlier this year, Solange was captured on a security camera attacking his brother-in-law Jay Z in an elevator that happened after the Met Ball.

Now, a new report suggests that the conflict was about the rapper's relationship with his one-time protege, Rihanna. A source told New York Post's Page Six that the famous elevator incident happened after Solange learned that Jay Z was planning to meet Rihanna without her sister, Beyonce.

The incident then has spawned rumors that Beyonce and Jay Z are about to be splitting up anytime soon. According to Eurweb, the powerhouse couple are only staying together and keeping appearances for the sake of their "On the Run" tour. The two are also said to have stopped wearing their wedding rings. In one photograph, Beyonce's tattoo "IV" on her ring finger was seen to have been lasered off.

The Page Six insider said there is a truth to the rumors and added, "Knowing them as I do, obviously there's a little something to certain rumors. When your man or woman isn't getting it done for you, and I'm talking emotionally, not necessarily sexually, they keep things quiet."

Although the two have been showing a united front to assure the public that everything is well between them, it has been claimed that the marriage has already been on the rocks for years, regardless of the elevator incident.

Fashion & Style reported that During the July 28 run of their tour in Cincinatti, Beyonce changed the lyrics of her song "Resentment" from "Been ridin' with you for six years" to "Been ridin' with you for 12 years," apparently referring to her relationship with the rapper.

Then, instead of singing the lyrics "I gotta look at her in her eyes and see she's had half of me," she mysteriously sang that part of the song by changing it, which sounded, "She ain't even half of me/That bitch will never be." It was assumed that this line was directed to the "Diamonds" singer.

Although there is still no official confirmation in response to the split rumors fromcouple, many believe that the divorce will happen soon.
