A Florida attorney allegedly attacked the father of a girl who cut in front of him in a buffet line at a wedding.

According to Palm Beach County Jail records, Mark Roher, 52, is accused of one count of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon.

During a wedding reception held at Boca Lago Country Club on January 18, Roher was in line at the prime rib carving station when two young girls cut in front of him, reported BocaNewsNow.com.

The police report said Roher confronted the father of one of the girls.

While an employee and the victim said Roher hit him over the head with a dinner plate, Roher denied the allegation saying the event was a "dry party."

Law & Crime described "a melee" breaking loose after the assault that involved "a large number" of guests.

Roher admitted to "making first contact by pushing the victim," the police report said.

Roher was booked into jail and released after paying a $1,000 bond.
