The upcoming episode of "Rookie Blue," entitled entitled "Deal with the Devil," will have Chloe-Dov fans cringing at the thought that Wes will actually have a chance to get back together with his estranged wife. The episode had featured Dov's (Gregory Smith) slipping relationship with Chloe (Priscilla Faia).
Considering the fact that both are not officially together, Chloe is forced too question on whatever she has been having with Dov, thanks to the fact that he stood her up on her special day, which is her birthday, Enstarz reported. Wes appeared to be in the waiting for the right time, and he clearly had gotten his chance to prove to Chloe that he is still interested to rekindle old love's flame. Wes showed up and saved what could have been Chloe's saddest birthday and gave her a special gift, no doubt already on hand for that moment.
Moreover Chloe and Dov's situation is strained with the revelation that she had never revealed her marriage status. It could be recalled that Wes suddenly appeared at the hospital where Chloe was confined and recovering from her gunshot wound she sustained on the job. Making things even worse for the love team, Wes emphasized to Dov his desire to get his estranged wife back. He made it specifically clear to Dov in a lot of scenes that he is not going anywhere, and assured him that he is really back to stay. Despite Dov's love for Chloe, Wes has showed in the episode that he is not giving up his wife without putting up a good fight.
Meanwhile, viewers are eager to find out what will happen between lovers Gail and Holly, who had long since broken up. As the season 5 of "Rookie Blue" is currently in full swing, Holly is reportedly set to make her comeback in this episode.
It has been quite some time since the series showed romantic moments between Holly and Gail. However, much to fans' disappointment, the upcoming reunion will not be as warm as expected. Aliyah O'Brien, who plays Holly, told GlobalTV about her character's state of mind after the breakup between the two former lovers. She said, "I think Holly misses Gail like crazy but is only willing to go so far to connect and make things right. She's hurt that Gail didn't care enough to hear her out. Holly wants to be with a woman that loves her and doesn't bolt whenever conflict arises."
"Rookie Blue" is scheduled to return on Thursday, July 31, on ABC
