An Ohio Burger King employee was fired after a woman allegedly received several buds of marijuana along with her child's chicken fries, sparking a viral TikTok video and a police investigation.

On Sunday, January 12, TikTok user @JannaBama visited the Burger King on Main Street in Hamilton, Ohio, to order chicken fries for her child. Upon opening the bag, she claims to have discovered several marijuana buds mixed with the food, FOX 19 reported.

She documented the incident in a TikTok video that has since garnered over 1.5 million views.

"Ok, went to Burger King tonight, listen, I need you guys to listen," she said in the video. "Got my kid some chicken fries. This bag came. If you look down in there you can see some residue ... She got her chicken fries. Chicken fries with a side of... do you see that? You can't say that on here. 'Mary Jane' from Burger King in Hamilton, Ohio."

The restaurant's management company, Miller Management, confirmed the termination of the employee responsible and expressed their disappointment over the incident, emphasizing their commitment to guest safety.

The Hamilton Police Department has launched an investigation but noted that they have not received an official report from the customer as of now.
