The annual Mobile World Congress is practically just around the corner and as it goes, leaks and teasers about the upcoming flagship smartphones continue to surface. And whether they are intentional or not, the end result is always a beneficial one. The latest to make its presence is LG G6's purported water and dust resistant feature.

The latest LG G6 teaser is revealed as "Resist More. Under Pressure." Presented with a blue background, the forthcoming flagship's teaser also added "Witness The Next Generation Smartphone, Brought To You First By LG." and with the scheduled event on "26.2.17. #LGG6.

As per GSMArena, the phrase "Under Pressure" entails LG G6's long-speculated water-resistant feature. Meanwhile, the same publication has stressed that the word "Resist" is a hint about the upcoming device's IP68 certification for water and dust resistance. As such, the next device should be able to withstand dusts and should be able to submerge itself in 1m deep water or more.

LG G6 is also tipped to come with an all-metal body along with a 5.7-inch 2,880 X 1,440 resolution. In addition, the South Korean firm's device is rumored to be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 chipset and a built-in Google Assistant. Other features include a rear dual-camera system, a fingerprint sensor and a quad DAC.

Meanwhile, Phone Arena has revealed that LG G6 is going to be fueled by a non-removable, 3,200mAh battery. The beefed up capacity is significantly 400mAh more than its predecessor LG G5. Via a "carrier official" who tipped Korean media ETNews, the anonymous source has also hinted that a 12-hour battery life was achieved on "standard internet".

LG G6 is scheduled to be unveiled on Feb.26 at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. It is expected to be launched alongside its rivals Xiaomi Mi 6 and Huawei P10 and Huawei P10 Plus.
