Samsung Hello Latest News And Update: Newest Trademark Could Be Powered By AI; To Respond To Voice Commands

By

One of the most talked-about specifications of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S8 doesn't come from its speculated bezel-less display. No, its very first AI, Siri-like assistant Bixby that will have its dedicated button is clearly the standout among its sea of newest features.

And while Samsung is on all fours in jazzing up the release of its flagship smartphone, the South Korean company has upped the competition by letting its rivals know that Bixby won't come in the war alone. CNET has reported that "Samsung Hello," Samsung's newest trademark that was filed in Europe recently might also be powered by artificial intelligence (AI).

In addition, the publication has shared that it could go alongside the firm's proprietary Bixby, which has long been rumored to be the company's first digital assistant. Bixby is Samsung's take on Apple's Siri, Google Assistant and Amazon's Alexa.

Meanwhile, the "Samsung Hello" trademark has indicated that the new add on will have the capacity to curate content such as games, music, social news and the weather based on the user's preferences or his or her most frequented information. As such, it could learn what the user would usually like and would then customize a feed with this range of information.

"Samsung Hello" is also expected to respond to voice commands although it is not ironed out yet as to how it will be infused to Bixby. It is rumored lately that "Hello" might end up as the AI's subset or it could be presented as a separate news feed. Samsung has yet to comment on the official features of "Samsung Hello" and it would be wise to take this information with a grain of salt.

As per Phone Arena, the newest 'Samsung Hello" trademark will be a "software that enables block users or computers and mobile devices to access, aggregate, organize and interact with content, information and images and topics of general interest to such users.

"Samsung Hello's" full details and features and expected to be revealed when Samsung Galaxy S8 is officially unveiled on March 29. It will be launched during the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona that will kick off this month.
