Donald Trump Presidency Affects US Social Events, Sports, Hollywood

By

Donald Trump being the newly elected President of the United States has definitely affected the political landscape not just in the United States, but also all over the world.  The repercussions of Trump's presidency were obvious as protests and boycotts are being held almost on a daily basis with every move by Trump's administration.

It's not only on the political side of things that the effects of Donald Trump's presidency is being felt.  Social parties, fashion industry, Hollywood, sports and even museums are also feeling the effects of Trump's presidency, according to a report from Fox News.

Vanity Fair is cancelling their annual blowout bashes that they usually host for the White House Correspondents Dinner.  Likewise for the New Yorker, who is also cancelling their blowout bash for Donald Trump's White House Correspondents.

The Museum of Modern Art is displaying paintings from predominantly Muslim nations, replacing the paintings of famous artists like Picasso and Matisse.  The act is an obvious protest over Donald Trump's travel ban on predominantly Muslim countries.

The clothing line of Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump's daughter, is being pulled out of the shelves and racks at Nordstrom.   Same goes for Neiman Marcus, who also just pulled Ivanka Trump's jewelry line from their website.

Hollywood awards ceremonies are also not spared from Donald Trump protests.  Actors and singers almost always denounce Trump during awards ceremonies.

The world of sports also has its own share of Donald Trump overtones.  The recently concluded Super Bowl LI is one example of that.

The New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady is constantly being asked questions about his friendship with Donald Trump.  It's no secret that Brady and Trump are good friends.

Donald Trump even called NFL Commissioner Roger Goodell a weak guy and a dope, via a report from the SB Nation.  Roger Goodell suspended Brady for four games this season as a result of the "Deflategate" controversy.

All of these series of events that's happening right now have one thing in common and that is Donald Trump.  These are signs of a cultural war that has plagued Trump since day one of his presidency and from the way things are going, it won't be ending anytime soon.
