Don't you just find life to be unfair sometimes when animals get to live a more comfortable lifestyle than yours? No need to fret as this equally bizarre and awesome photo that circulated over the internet is just a common practice among Saudi Arabian Kings and Princes.

My captain friend sent me this photo. Saudi prince bought ticket for his 80 hawks. from funny

A Reddit user shared the photo showing 80 falcons traveling on an airplane with each having their own seat. The falcons were believed to belong to a Saudi Arabian Prince. The viral photo which, as of writing, garnered 4,347 comments caught the interest of netizens because of such an uncommon sight in an airplane.

Some will find it weird but in the Middle East transporting falcons is a very common practice. It only makes sense since the falcon is the national bird of the United Arab Emirates and is also considered as the true "sport of Kings." Falconry, the name of the sport wherein birds are trained to hunt, was founded over 4,000 years ago and remains to be a popular past time among the privileged few. In fact, because of its value, it was reported that falcons are given passports to travel in limited countries.

According to UAE's Ministry of Climate Change and Environment, the passport is valid for three years. In an interview, a representative for the airline Flydubai said that falcons must have their own seat and are placed on a cloth to avoid accidents. Similarly, Qatar Airways allow a maximum of six falcons in economy class and Etihad Airways also accept carriage of falcons, both in the main aircraft cabin and as checked baggage, provided that pertinent documents were obtained.

Over the years, the quality of falcons has increased on a global level. Projects were made in an effort to protect them and several people who took an interest in breeding have even enrolled in falconry courses to improve their skills. At least you know that the next time you decide to make a falcon your pet, you can always bring them wherever you go. Of course, depending on the location.
