Justin Bieber Says He Doesn’t Listen To The Weeknd, Calls His Music ‘Wack’

Justin Bieber and The Weeknd may not bond well over music after the 'Love Yourself' singer clearly expressed his dislike to the music of the 26-year-old R&B crooner, who has recently been romantically linked to Bieber’s ex-girlfriend, Selena Gomez. TMZ caught up with Bieber nd asked whether he listens to The Weeknd’s music.

"Hell no, I can't listen to a Weeknd song," Bieber said in reply to a TMZ cameraman in West Hollywood. "That s--t's wack."

This is the first time that the issue between Bieber and The Weeknd was addressed with a straightforward answer by Bieber himself. The 'Sorry' singer responded to a question relating to the ‘Starboy’ crooner since the latter’s new relationship with Gomez went public earlier this month. In a past encounter with TMZ, Bieber did not seem to bother answering questions about Gomez and her new flame. 

Bieber and Gomez previously dated on and off between 2011 and 2014. The ‘Hands to Myself’ songstress sparked an online blaze when she was photographed while giving The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel, a romantic hug and kiss after a dinner date in Santa Monica.

After news of Gomez and The Weeknd’s PDA went viral online, feelings of betrayal reportedly caused Bella Hadid to unfollow the former Disney Star. Hadid formerly dated The Weeknd, and her older sister Gigi is in the same circle of friends as Gomez. According to TMZ, Gomez does not see her new relationship as a big deal to Hadid, given that they have been civil to each other but are not necessarily close friends.

The Canadian singer is convinced that Gomez is merely using The Weeknd as part of her publicity stunt to promote her new music, giving rise to further drama over the issue of Bieber and The Weeknd.  The new couple has reportedly been collaborating to make new songs, and Bieber admitted he feels Gomez only dated him, same as with Nick Jonas and Zedd, because she wanted publicity for her projects.
