Former RHOBH Star Kim Richards to Face Jail Time For Skipping AA Meetings

Former "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills" actress Kim Richards is now facing jail time in her shoplifting case because she allegedly hasn't fulfilled her plea deal obligations.

According to TMZ, a bench warrant has been issued by a Los Angeles County judge and Kim Richards' bail is already set for $26,000.00. This is because the 51-year-old American TV personality has failed to provide documentation proving that she has attended court-ordered Alcholics Anonymous (AA) meeting or that she fulfilled any of her required hours of community labor.

Kim who has publicly struggled alcoholism and addiction issues was arrested for shoplifting $600 worth of merchandise from a Target branch in Los Angeles. As a part of the deal, she received a penalty of 3 years summary probation, 30 days community labor, and was ordered to attend 52 weeks of mandatory AA meetings. This is so because the judge agreed to let her serve her sentences simultaneously but unfortunately failed to complete it, People Magazine has learned.

Because of that, a source close to the RHOBH star revealed in an interview, "Kim has not been coming at all to the meetings in West Hollywood for quite some time. She used to attend daily.

Her friends and sober family started to worry about her when she stopped returning people's phone calls several months ago. Eventually, her recovery friends just gave up. It works if you work it, and she clearly did not want to do the work.", Radar Online has learned.

Kim Richards' shoplifting arrest came just a few months after she was arrested for causing a disturbance at the Beverly Hills Hotel polo lounge. Kim was booked on multiple charges after the incident which include public intoxication, trespassing, resisting an officer, and a battering of a police officer after she allegedly kicked a police officer in the leg. Richards was later placed in a holding cell for the night.
