Nick Gordon Reiterated His Innocence on Bobby Kristina Brown's Death

In the two-part special interview with Dr. Phil, Nick Gordon, the former boyfriend of Bobby Kristina Brown, said that she had a serious drug problem. He revealed her drugs abuse intensified when Whitney Houston passed away.

E! Online reported after spending time in rehab, Nick Gordon is finally sitting down with Dr. Phil again and opening up about Bobbi Kristina and Whitney Houston. In March 2015, Gordon was unable to function well, admitting he was intoxicated. Following the earlier interview, Dr. Phil helped Nick Gordon into rehab.

"Rehab was something I needed, and I'm thankful that I got that opportunity," he said. "I was drinking so much at the time because I could not deal with what was happening to Krissy. It mentally broke me. That's the lowest point in my life right there."

Now, as he is sober, Nick Gordon was finally able to tell Dr. Phil about the facts surrounding the incident. In an interview, to be aired on April 28 and 29, Gordon revealed that Bobbi Kristina Brown was struggling with drug and alcohol problem. The drug and alcohol abuse then became worse after Whitney Houston's death.

Brown was found unconscious in a bathtub at her home in January 2015. Following six months of a medically induced coma, she died on July 26, 2015 at the age of 22. Bobby Brown, Kristina's father, sued him in a $10 million dollar civil lawsuit, claiming he is responsible for her death.

Gordon denied the accusation. As quoted by Billboard, he said Bobby Brown as the father is more responsible for hurting his own daughter.

"[Bobby] hurt his own daughter, not me," he said. "I was the one there for her while she was dealing with him not being there. He's not a reasonable person so I'm not planning on talking to him and I really don't want to."

Furthermore, Nick Gordon said, "Regardless of what everybody thinks, I made Krissy and Whitney's last few years on earth as happy as they would be. I gave them somebody to trust, to talk to, to be there, someone genuine."

Entertainment Tonight wrote that Kevin Frazier, its journalist, talked to Dr. Phil after the interview. Dr. Phil said he didn't let Gordon off easy during their sit-down.

"I ask him straight up, 'Did you murder Bobbi Kristina? Did you concoct a lethal cocktail that you gave her to end her life?'" he revealed on Tuesday. "There are accusations from this family that he in fact was involved in the death of Whitney and I ask him straight up, 'Did you murder Whitney Houston?'"

Nick Gordon revealed that Bobbi Kristina Brown was having drugs problem prior to her death. He said in a special interview with Dr. Phil that her drugs abuse intensified after the death of her mother, Whitney Houston. Gordon also reiterated his innocence in Bobbi and Whitney's death.
