Samsung Unveils Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge Pink Gold

By

Samsung has unveiled a new color for its flagship Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge.  But mind you, they are not called Rose Gold but rather Pink Gold for its pinker version. Many might be wondering why Pink Gold is definitely different from Rose Gold, Samsung explains:

"Pink Gold was chosen as it, like the other colors available for the Galaxy S7 and S7 edge, is a natural color that provides a sense of comfort. These hues glitter and shimmer as if illuminated from inside their glass surfaces."

"In particular, the refined, skin tone-inspired Pink Gold color scheme is intended to soothe and incorporate a touch of gentleness, radiance and sophistication to the smartphones' design."

Aside from the addition of a new color, the pink gold Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge resemble the previously released models which are water-resistant and run on Android Marshmallow being one of the most powerful smartphones available in the market. Previous colors include black, platinum gold, silver and white, as reported by Phone Arena.

Samsung flagship smartphones have always been given fresh colors in the months following their releases. Having Pink Gold, the color is a lovely common color to be included to a smartphone lineup post-launch and Pink Gold/Rose Gold has just become a fashionable color option for smartphones, Phone Dog reports.

The Pink Gold versions of the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge launched today in Korea and will soon be available to customers in "selected markets" but didn't specify the selected markets it is pertaining to.
