Black Panther is set make his Marvel Cinematic Universe debut in the upcoming Captain America: Civil War as teased in a new tv spot for the film. Directors Joe and Anthony Russo also shared photos of the The Winter Soldier and Black Panther as they rehearse their "dance scene".

Before starring in his solo film, Chadwick Boseman's Black Panther is set to appear in the MCU through Captain America: Civil War and the new tv spot for the film shows which side he will take in the big rift between the two heroes.

According to Comic Book Resources, the new tv spot ends with a short scene where Black Panther was clawing Captain America's shield indicating that he will choose to side with Iron Man. It is also worth noting that Captain America's shield was made of Vibranium which originated from Black Panther's home in Wakanda and was the same material used for Black Panther's suit.

Black Panther's role in the Civil War is still unknown but aside from Captain America, he will also go head to head against Captain America's friend, The Winter Soldier. As reported by Collider, the new information came from the Russo brothers who posted a photo of The Winter Soldier and Black Panther's rehearsal of their fight scene. "Working out choreography for the dance scene", the caption wrote.

Plot details for the upcoming Black Panther solo film are still under wraps. However as reported by Design N Trend, Marvel president Kevin Feige revealed that Black Panther's story is important for the studio, and added that it will be the link to the next Avengers movie.  "T'Challa's story is very important to us as it links to the next Avengers films, which is why we brought it forward.", Feige stated.

Chadwick Boseman is set to play the titular role in the upcoming Black Panther solo film. He is rumored to be joined by Andy Serkis who previously played the role of Ulysses Klaue / Klaw. The upcoming Black Panther film is slated to be released on February 16, 2018.
