'The Family' Season 1 Spoilers: How Adam disappeared 10 years ago will be finally revealed

Creator Jenna Banns teased that the upcoming episode of "The Family" Season 1 will finally reveal how Adam was kidnapped 10 years ago. Also, ABC has released the official plot description of episode 7 'All the Livelong Day' while a recap of last week's episode 6 'Nowhere Man' is provided here for fans who have missed to watch it.

Series creator Jenna Banns teased via TV Line about what fans should expect in the upcoming episode of "The Family" Season 1. Banns stated that details about Adam's disappearance 10 years ago will finally be revealed.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 7, Spoilers Guide notes, "In flashbacks we find out about Adam's return to Red Pines, which plays out against the emotional backdrop of Willa's long-held secrets and lies. We get a glimpse of what Adam went through in captivity and Hank's desperate state of mind while incarcerated. John drops a bombshell on Claire, and she ultimately struggles with an agonizing decision about the future of her family."

For a quick recap of "The Family" Season 1 previous episode 6 "Nowhere Man", Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Nina and Clements planned to lure Doug by using Adam as a bait. Suddenly, Adam got sick and is taken to the hospital the time he spotted Doug at the mall. The doctor who was assigned to Adam in the hospital dropped a bombshell about a woman named Claire.

A series of flashbacks also featured the night when Adam was kidnapped which retraced the story where Doug crossed paths with the Warren family and the policemen.

"The Family" Season 1 Episode 7 is entitled as "All the Livelong Day". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. first and exclusive on ABC.

"The Family" is an American thriller TV series created and executively produced by Jenna Bans, Shonda Rhimes' former regular writer. The series follows the return of Mayor Claire Warren's young son, Adam who was presumed dead after disappearing over a decade earlier.
