'Supernatural' Season 11: Sam and Dean to defeat Amara; Season 12, 13 renewal confirmed by The CW

The CW president Mark Pedowitz has officially announced that "Supernatural" Season 11 will continue for seasons 12 and 13 with lead actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles. Also, the said network has released the official plot description of episode 18 'Hell's Angel' and a recap of last week's episode 17 is made available here for fans who have missed to watch it.

Mark Pedowitz, The CW network president, has officially announced that "Supernatural" is being picked up for seasons 12 and 13 renewal. Pedowitz also stated that lead actors Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles for a multi-year contract to cover the upcoming installment of the series. The CW president even admitted that he is a big fan of the show, Deadline has cited.

As for the official plot synopsis of episode 18, Spoilers Guide notes, "The epic battle for power begins. Lucifer (Misha Collins) takes a trip home and tries to assert himself into heaven.Crowley (Mark A. Sheppard) tells Sam (Jared Padalecki) and Dean Winchester (Jensen Ackles) a way to take down Amara The Darkness (guest star Emily Swallows).

For a quick recap of "Supernatural" Season 11 Episode 17 "Red Meat", Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported that Sam and Dean Winchester went head to head with a pair of wereweolves who have captured two victims. Suddenly, one of the werewolves shot Sam and left Dean to rescue his brother and the victims alone. As he attempted to escape out of the house, Dean and the rest of the group were trapped as a pack of werewolves are everywhere waiting to kill them all.

"Supernatural" Season 11 Episode 18 is entitled as "Hell's Angel". The forthcoming episode is scheduled to premiere on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 at 9:00 p.m. first and exclusive on The CW.
