'Game of Thrones' Season 6: Each episode costs millions; Kit Harington confirms Jon Snow is dead

Kit Harington revealed that he will still be a part of "Game of Thrones" Season 6 where he will appear as a corpse of his character, Jon Snow. The actor also confirmed his relationship with co-star Rose Leslie, who plays the role of Ygritte in the series. The season 6 production is currently underway and reports stated that producing each episode cost millions of dollars.

Kit Harington discussed the details about his character Jon Snow's fate in "Game of Thrones" Season 6. Harington stated, "He's [Jon Snow] featured on the posters of season 6, I'm really dead. I'm not coming back. He will be coming back in the upcoming season but only in the capacity of his character's corpse. I filmed some scenes of me being dead, it's some of my best work.", Australia News Network has cited.

In addition, Harington officially confirmed that he is in a relationship with co-star Rose Leslie last Sunday, April 3, 2016. The two debuted as a couple during the red carpet event of Olivier Awards held in LondonRose Leslie plays the role of Ygritte in the show, Yahoo TV has reported.

On the other hand, the production for the upcoming season of "Game of Thrones" is curently underway and is said to be expensive. International Business Times reports that each episode costs $10 million and a total of $100 million is needed to produce the whole new season.

"Game of Thrones" Season 6 is scheduled to return on Sunday, April 24, 2016 first and exclusive on HBO, it will premiere on on Foxtel Australia the next day and will be simulcast on Sky Atlantic.

"Game of Thrones" is an American fantasy drama TV series created by David Benioff and D.B. Weiss. The storyline is based on George R.R. Martin's fantasy novel series entitled as "A Song of Ice and Fire".
