DOOM Hits Shelves May 13; New Gameplay Trailer Launched by Bethesda Reveals 9 New Maps [Watch]

Bethesda Softworks is gearing up towards DOOM release date with an all new recently launched gameplay trailer giving fans a sneak peek on what is in store for them in the upcoming shooter when it hits PS 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC come May 13.  

iDigital Times reports that a new DOOM gameplay trailer is recently released by game developer Bethesda Softworks less than two months prior to the game's official public launching on all platforms. The said teaser reveals the multiplayer maps that will be included in the new title. 

Similar to the game's campaign, the soon-to-be released reboot will be featuring both the Martian and horrifying areas that gamers could anticipate to discover waiting for them in Hell. There will be nine various environments all in all included in the first person shooter video game when it reaches the shelves in May. Each one of the nine maps has dissimilar look and theme but will all have that DOOM feel definitely. 

Hardcore game aficionados shall have the utter fun shooting and killing one another in hell-like environments as Bethesda's franchise is back to PC, Xbox One, and PS4 this summer season. The new DOOM will get all the nine maps designed for the launch build of DOOM at Day one namely, Beneath, Chasm, Disposal, Excavation, Heatwave, Helix, Infernal, Perdition and Sacriligious.

Apparently, the above clip only showed ample on-screen time for four out of the nine maps. The five maps were revealed hardly in a four-second compilation other than their respective names. 

Developed by id Software, DOOM is scheduled to launch on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC hardware on May 13.
