Destiny 2 Rumored to be Released for Nintendo NX; Fans to Receive Release Date News in 2017 Earliest

The supposed Destiny 2 still has no certainty for the moment, but Bungie may be shining little bits of light to the community that tails the entire franchise. Moreover, some rumors on the game's content are also rampant online despite the continuous efforts of the development company to set aside all the speculations of the fans.

According to Christian Times, Destiny 2 has become quite a popular idea to the fans of the franchise when it comes to the series' continuity. As of late, rumors have circulated that the second installment might be aptly named Beyond Destiny. Given that gamers are still questioning this rumor, there are some others that seem more unlikely but still being considered.

As per Ecumenical News, Destiny 2 is rumored to come not only to the existing next generation consoles but also to the up and coming Nintendo NX. This claim has not been supported by the developer, but some fans highly believe of the said probability. Moreover, it was a widespread rumor that Destiny 2 will most likely focus on Osiris but gamers are still yet to receive official word from Bungie about the matter.

Noted by Express, it was said that Bungie is most probable to only have news about Destiny 2 by 2017 at the earliest. This is also disputable, as some may believe; since 2018 to 2020 may be the most allowance that the game can come forth. Still, Bungie encourages fans to take everything as a grain of salt, to not rely on pure rumors and speculations that arise.

The existing Destiny: The Taken King is the most recent one that fans can hold on to for the time being. For now, news on the alleged Destiny 2 are still scarce and until Bungie further confirms it, as well as the title's possible involvement with the Nintendo NX, gamers are yet to figure out the entirety of it.
