US President Obama dismayed about the violence and divisiveness at Trump's campaign rallies

The violence and the divisiveness of the US presidential campaign have dismayed President Barack Obama. He called on the leaders especially GOP presidential frontrunner Donald Trump to clean up the tone of the race.

President Obama said he has already heard rude and divisive speech against women and the minorities. He added that Americans live in a country where free speech is a vital right that they hold. He had already seen enough violence but leaders are just silent about it. He suspects that all of them can recall some uncontrolled words that they regret but they are all responsible for reversing it and its effect on their people as per the Economic Times.

Within the Republican Party, Trump has drawn a wide criticism for his campaign. He has called Mexican immigrants rapists and even proposed a ban on Muslims entering the United States. He was also heard mocking a journalist with a disability and using offensive language about women which he once termed as a bimbo, dog and fat pigs as reported by Washington Times.

During the past days of Trump's rallies, clashes between his supporters and his protesters have occurred. But according to the Business Insider, Trump has rejected the characterization that violence has been prevalent in his rallies.

President Obama said this year's campaign is not the accurate reflection of the United States. He urged to stop the violence and claims that these types of behavior can undermine their democracy, economy, and their society.

Republican senate majority leader Mitch McConnell said she already recommended the GOP presidential frontrunner to condemn and discourage the violence regardless of who is triggering this violent expressions or conflict.

Trump's rivals in the upcoming November 2016 presidential elections include US senators Ted Cruz of Texas, Ohio Governor John Kasich and Senator Marco Rubio of Florida.
