So far, the team behind Atlus has not deprived the people of what they need to know.

According to Christian Today, Persona 5's entirety is still being questioned by many, since not much gameplay videos and previews have been dished out to the public. The story, however, is one that Game Director Katsura Hashino has not held back on talking about. The head behind the game speaks up on what the characters have in store for those who wish to get their hands around Persona 5.

As per PlayStation Lifestyle, the main characters are teenagers that wish to rectify a corrupted government system in Tokyo, which falls under the control of crooked adults. One of the characters from Phantom Thieves of Hearts include Ryuji Sakamoto, who is the main point character of the game. He is the one responsible for the creation of Phantom Thieves of Hearts with Captain Kid as his Persona.

The other protagonists are Ann Takamaki, also known as Carmen; a blonde-haired teenage girl with an American-Japanese ethnicity. There is also Yusuke Kitagawa, dubbed Goemon which is a very artistic and witty student whose involvement in the group is still in question. Lastly, Morgana, also known as Zorro, is a talking cat that can be compared to Teddie of Persona 4 and trains the Phantom Thieves as noted by N4BB.

Persona 5's release date is rumored to be within the second to third half of the year. Some delays came in order to make the title a truly formidable one, given that the role-playing game competition of today has set a really high bar. Keep posted for more Persona 5 news.
