Bobby Brown Reportedly Back in Rehab for Alleged Drug and Alcohol Abuse

By

Online, news are surrounding that Bobby Brown has just been admitted in a rehab clinic in California. The report comes just a few days after his attorney confirmed that Brown was expecting his third child with wife, Alicia Etheredge.

Reports from the Parent Herald show that, the 47-year-old singer had been admitted to a rehab facility over his alleged drug and alcohol abuse. Unfortunately, this is something that the attorney claims is untrue, as information on why the singer was in rehab wasn't divulged on The Boombox. The attorney shares that the drug and alcohol accusations were nothing more than just rumors at this point. Intouch Weekly reports that Brown could be undergoing treatment for his past history with cocaine and alcohol abuse.

Known to the public, this isn't the first time Brown has gotten himself in rehab. More importantly, the singer has been having a pretty troubling few years. Back in February 2012, his ex-wife, Whitney Houston, died. And in July 2015, his 22-year-old daughter with Houston, Bobbi Kristina, passed away too. With all of these tragedies, it seems like they're pretty tough for a man like Brown to handle on his own.

Even though he has some family tragedies to face, Brown still has to attend to the different gigs he has scheduled around the country. Considering he is currently on tour, Brown has to get better so he can attend to his commitments. His next scheduled performance is on March 4th and March 12th in Charleston, SC and Baltimore, MD respectively. Together with him will be R&B groups Blackstreet, 112, Jagged Edge, Keith Sweat, and many others.

Prior to reports of Brown getting admitted in rehab, the singer shared a photo on his Instagram. Through his social media account, the singer told his fans that he was on his way to both Indiana and Washington, D.C. No other post have been published on his Instagram account after this.
