SanDisk releases new age storage devices: Faster with bigger capacity and more reliable

In the world of technology, techno geeks often has a storage device inside their pockets or bags and SanDisk knows the importance of having one. That is why the company has introduced the latest USB Type-C flash drive.

According to SanDisk, the latest storage device is much more efficient and faster than any standard Micro-USB connection. It is now becoming the new standard of storage for phones and other mobile devices. The 16GB model is said to transfer 130MB per second while the largest 128GB can transfer files at a speed of 150MBps, as per CNet.

The device was created with a very simple design and is virtually very small. People are recon to lose this thing right after buying it that is why it is advisable to connect it with a keychain or attach it to a lanyard. There is a sliding grey cover that goes in and out to protect the connector itself. The new Type C device can also be plugged in whatever configuration unlike the ordinary USB devices which can only be connected in one side.

According to Dinesh Bahal, the vice president in product marketing, action cameras are now the fastest growing segment in the digital imaging which includes drones. This technology creates an opportunity to capture more stunning, high capacity, high quality 4K Ultra HD content. They created the device to cater to the consumers' needs in transferring massive files which reduces the time spent on transferring contents, as reported by Beta News.

According to Ausdroid, the company also created a wireless storage device called Connect Wireless Stick. This device allows users to connect to the storage as a wireless drive using their app, Connect Drive, which can be downloaded from Google Play. It also offers a full size USB port for connecting to the PC and charging stick which is available in a 200GB capacity.

These storage drives are already available in the US which would cost from $20 to $80 depending on the storage capacity and will be available globally anytime soon. So regardless if one is in gaming or simply just working inside the office, a fast and reliable storage device would come in handy.
