Donald Trump says Hispanic Judge has been hostile on the Trump University case

GOP candidate Donald Trump said that the Hispanic judge has been extremely unfair to them in the Trump University case. He added that the judge's race has affected the case but noted that he will never opt for a settlement.

According to a report by Breitbart, Trump was criticized by his rivals during the GOP debate for his impending cases pertaining to his now defunct Trump University. He later responded saying that the judge assigned in the case has been hostile to their side.

"We have a very hostile judge because to be honest with you", Trump said. "He's Hispanic, which is fine and we haven't asked for a recusal, which we may do." He stated. He also added during his talk with NBC News that the judge has been unfair to them which he associated with his current political platform to impose bigger boundaries between Mexico and US if he wins the presidency.

"Because of the wall and because of everything that's going on with Mexico...this is a judge who I believe has treated me very, very unfairly. This is a case that should have been thrown out a long time ago, in the opinion of many great lawyers", Trump said.

According to Latin Post, Trump's lawyer previously sought to recuse U.S. District Judge Gonzalo Curiel after he approved one case against Trump as a class action suit. The case was filed by a student in the Trump University.

In their lawsuits, the Trump University students claim that the institution named after the GOP candidate is fake. The plaintiffs allege that they paid thousands of dollars and were promised to get one-on-one mentorship, practical and fail-safe real estate techniques, a 'power team' with top managers and contractors.

Trump also countered such claims saying that the claimant in one lawsuit praised the university and paper and film. He does not like settling lawsuits because "Everybody sues you". He also mentioned previously that 98% of the attendees of the school liked the course and some even succeeded.
