Half-Life 3 Might Have VR Support; Valve Stays Firm With Game Development Not Happening?

By

Valve's Half-Life 3 has been talked about since the release of the massive second title a number of years ago. With such a great fan base surrounding the entire first person series, some fans are wondering if craving for a third title can still be considered natural, or if it would be too long a shot to call.

As per Gospel Herald, recent news came out that a presumed leak was spotted in the HTC Vive benchmark tool which was designed to play a significant role for the VR headset. The said leaked files did not only divulge something for Half-Life 3, but also for the presumed relative title Left 4 Dead 3. Moreover, fans of the series presume that the clues found within the files are not a hoax, but rather an overlooked set of information that Valve may not have paid too close attention to.

Noted by The News Independent, the rumors of a Virtual Reality compatibility for the title is not at all impossible, as many of today's first person shooters are adapting to the particular technology. Many believe that it would make sense for the game to adapt the style in case that it would be released in today's generation.

According to Movie Pilot, as all of the aforementioned information may be admirable, Valve has further discouraged the gamers to take certain rumors heavily and only as a grain of salt until further announcements. Gabe Newell of Valve has not been very vocal with any news pertaining to Half-Life 3, as well as the contemporary title to be, Left 4 Dead 3.

Half-Life 3 is a common idea that many fans of the franchise have wanted for quite some time, but habe not succeeded in getting. For the moment, fans can only grasp on to Half-Life 2: Episode 2, and the other existing games that Valve has.
