Israel alleges Iran to be part of an international terror network

By

Iran is accused by the Israeli's defense minister of creating an international terror network. According to the minister, Iran has been building sleeper cells to stock firearms, intelligence and operatives to strike in places like Europe and the US if commanded.

Moshe Yaalon claimed the Iranian regime is using the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps to build complex terror infrastructures. He also said that Iran is a dangerous axis which includes Baghdad, Beirut, Damascus, Sanaa and other cities in the region and its Cypriot counterpart has stopped such activities in the past.

As reported by Yahoo, Israel has considered Iran as the biggest threat to the region, believing Iran supported anti-Israeli militants like Hezbollah and Hamas.

Cypriot authorities have arrested a dual Swedish-Lebanese citizen and a Hezbollah operative for participating in a plan to attack Israeli tourists last 2012. Also,, a Lebanese-Canadian Hezbollah member was arrested  in 2015 and was put in jail for six years after pleading guilty of keeping tons of ammonium nitrate compound which will be used for explosives to attack Israeli's targets abroad, according to the Telegraph.

Yaalon added that the chaos in Syria has resulted in the widespread infiltration of murderous, merciless and terror groups that have been a part of the global jihad who are basically funded by Iran. He added that western countries must collaborate in order to counter these plans of massive terror attacks, as per Haaretz.

These statements were given by Yaalon after Iran's ambassador to Lebanon announced their support to the occurrence of violent protest  and attacks in Israel. The ambassador said they will pay thousands of dollars to Palestinian families whose members have been killed during the violence. Ambassador Mohammad Fathali promised they will pay $7000 to every family of a martyr of the infatada in Jerusalem. Also, they will be giving $30,000 to Palestinian families whose house has been demolished as a result of the war.
