Lamar Odom, Khloe Kardashian, Continue Relationship During Odom's Recovery

By

According to reports, ex-celebrity couple, Khloe Kardashian and NBA athlete Lamar Odom are keeping their close relationship with each other during the athlete's recovery from drug addiction.

Reports are suggesting that the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star have split from James Harden, who is also a basketball player. US Weekly reported a week ago that the 31-year-old reality star broke up with the 26-year-old athlete. In the past, Kardashian has commended Harden's understanding and support as she tried to help nurse Odom after collapsing in a brothel in Nevada due to an alcohol and drug binge.

Reports say that Odom has moved into a house within the gated community where Kardashian's house is also situated. This is so Kardashian can monitor his recovery and it also allows her to help him as much as she can without going too far from home.

"When Lamar isn't in physical therapy he is with Khloe. They continue to be closer than ever. No one really knows what will happen with them in the future," said a source to E! News.

The source added that Odom is doing well in his recovery phase, which makes the reality star even more keen on helping him reach his goal to be healthy and sober.

"Lamar has a very positive attitude - Khloe is so proud of him. She encourages and motivates him everyday," added the source in the same E! News post.

The Mirror reports that the therapy for Odom is in a phase where he is working on strengthening his body once more. The progress of the athlete has been fairly impressive, adds the insider.

"Right now, they have him working on lower body strength exercises. He makes a little bit of progress everyday, but it's still baby steps. He went from not being able to even stand on his own, to now, he is almost power walking," said a source to Mirror
